If your device is randomly turning off, check the automatic standby setting from the settings menu. You can check this by going to Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Standby.
If your device is inactive for quite sometime, the device can go into deep sleep mode and you will not see any LED on the device. Press the power button on the device to turn it on again.
